I made this for my kids, because I was using the Merlin Bird App (not affiliated, I just love the app), and since my children do not have phones, I put my graphic design experience to work by creating a checklist for the top 25 birds you’re most likely to spot. Initally, I did only New England but have since developed eight U.S. regions checklists.
Pick your region, check off each species as you spot it, date the sighting, and jot a quick note if something’s worth remembering. There’s a cover page, a short how-it-works page, all eight regional checklists (25 birds apiece, 200 total), and a closing summary page to tally what you’ve logged.
